Group Task (Speaking)

This is a group speaking practice activity ideal for up to 40 participants per group. This Role-Play Scenario is suitable for English language learners who could benefit from beginner or pre-intermediate level speaking & listening comprehension practice.

The following files (in sufficient quantities) are necessary for students to be able to participate in multiple iterations of a pizza ordering Role-Play Scenario.

Character Preference Cards

Each of these cards have a unique combination of pizza preferences on them.
1 set of 18 cards is sufficient for up to 18 participants. Additional copies of the cards will need to printed if there are more than 18 participants. It is perfectly fine for 2 or more participants to have a copy of an identical card.
For the best long-lasting durability, print, cut, and then laminate each individual card. This should allow for years of regular use, even by younger learners.
These Character Preference Cards are the same cards used for the Pizza Topping Survey Activities and the Pizza Topping Preferences Deduction Challenge. Preparing them for this activity will mean that they are also ready for use for the other activities, with limited additional materials prep-work required.
