Vocabulary Knowledge
Use this set of Alphabet Example Word Cards to provide students with examples of words that begin with each letter of the alphabet. We've carefully chosen words that are correct examples of the most common sound represented by each letter. These can be used as a set of handheld cards alongside our series of Alphabet Teaching Cards, but they also make FANTASTIC wall hangings for teachers with their own classroom. Note: You're not just limited to using the cards on the linked set as alphabet examples words. Except for words where the first letter doesn't match the beginning sound of the word, all of our Vocabulary Flashcards are designed to be used for this purpose.

Phonics & Reading Skills
Use our collection of double-sided Alphabet Teaching Cards to teach your students the names and sounds of each letter in the alphabet used by the English language. Each card has a letter on one side with the letter's sound on the opposite, which makes it easy to differentiate between asking student to pronounce the letters name versus its phonetic sound. Two double-sided versions are available for each letter, one with just the lowercase character (a) and one with both the uppercase and lowercase characters shown (Aa). Teachers can also choose between half-page and full-page versions of the cards.

Speaking Activities & Games
The Family Tree Builder learning system isn't limited to just learning family names. It can also be used to practice asking and answering questions about family members' ages. Each Character Tile has the character's age on the back, allowing for information-gap scenarios where characters' identities need to be deduced based on age.
