Pair-Practice activities involve learners being organized into pairs for learning tasks that require back-and-forth communication between 2 people. For 1-on-1 lessons with only 1 student, the activities can be practiced by the student and the instructor.
Available Role-Play Prop Files
The following files (in sufficient quantities) are necessary for students to be able to participate in various fast-food Role-Play Scenario scenes.
Modular Props
Assembly instructions are included directly in the printable resources files.
These resources mustbe printed on card-stock. For maximum durability, a 300 gram weight is recommended, but 200 gram weight and above may suffice if 300 gram is not available. Card-stock printing is necessary to provide the necessary physical functionality required for this activity.
Multiple copies of these resources will generally be necessary for most class-sizes. This is true for even 1-on-1 lessons, if the instructor would like it to be possible to order multiple burgers of the same type. However, if carefully assembled with strong enough glue, the long-term learning benefits created by these resources will certaintly make the preparation time very worthwhile.
The following files are not required, but serve useful optional purposes.
Cheat Sheets
For learners who have basic reading skills, using a Cheat Sheet allows them to learn the vocabulary words WHILE they are practicing the speaking activity.
Includes activity Sentence Patterns & Core Vocabulary Words
